Vandaag dinsdag 3 maart is in het Gouvernement aan de Maas het officiële startsein gegeven voor het project Circulaire Economie Limburg 4 LIFE (CEL4LIFE). Met een feestelijke bijeenkomst zijn de afspraken voor de komende zes jaar vastgelegd en is het programma - waarin partners en stakeholders samen optrekken - officieel van start gegaan.

CEL4LIFE staat voor: Circulaire Economie Limburg 4 LIFE: Klaar voor een Circulaire Toekomst en (mede) gefinancierd door het LIFE-programma van de EU. Het project richt zich op het versnellen van de circulaire transitie in de Nederlandse provincie Limburg.

The Euregional Circularity Policy Platform (EU-CIR) will boost collaboration and effective governance for the circular economy throughout the Euregion. EU-CIR is designed as an open and growing network that connects local and regional authorities, educational and research institutions, social organisations, and other partners. This platform will offer a unique space for joint initiatives, better policy coordination, sharing knowledge, experience and best practices to develop circular value chains.
